Depti graduated from Kings College London in 2006 and went on to study the Bar at Inns Court School of Law. She was called to the Bar in 2007.
Depti joined Powell Spencer Solicitors in November 2010 as a paralegal and is currently a probationary representative at the police station. She endeavours to represent clients and obtain the best possible outcome at first instance.
As a member of the department of Rhys Davies, Depti specialises in criminal law and has a variety of cases ranging from minor offences in the Magistrates’ Court to more serious cases such as GBH and sexual offences in the Crown Court. She works hard to establish good working relationships with trial counsel and where possible also attends court for trial.
Depti has a natural ability to build a rapport with clients; ensuring client care is at the forefront of all meetings.
Depti can read, write and speak fluent Hindi and can also fluently speak Punjabi. In her free time, she enjoys playing competitive sport such as basketball, tennis and badminton and has a passion for music and dance.
