Sandra is a senior member of our crime department. She qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1994 specializing in Criminal Defence work.

Sandra is a Duty Solicitor in Magistrates’ Court Advocacy and Police Station Representation. She has a large caseload covering all areas of work from police station investigation through the magistrate’s court to the crown court and court of appeal. Sandra has a supervisory role within the firm and reviews the work of other fee earners.

Sandra is an organized, highly motivated criminal advocate with a wealth of experience ranging from summary only excess alcohol and shoplifting cases to more complex cases including murder, conspiracy to supply drugs and large scale fraud. No case is too big or too small. Sandra’s current caseload covers a wide variety of offences including a high value conspiracy to supply class A drugs and murder. She is particularly expert at representing youths and vulnerable clients suffering from mental health and learning difficulties due to her compassionate ability to communicate effectively and present their position to the courts.

Her experience and expertise in this field makes her an exceptional member of our criminal defence team. Sandra is dedicated and thorough and focuses on individual client requirements and needs so as to provide advice, support and representation throughout the legal process. It is this attention to detail that ensures that her clients always return and recommend her services to others.

Sandra has an immense capacity to absorb the case notes, the pre-sentence report and our narratives, whilst also being a fantastic listener, making our daughter feel understood and getting her to grasp the situation she was in.

Sandra was both professional and warm, offering sound personal and legal advice to our daughter. Sandra managed to represent the complex medical and emotional traumas in our daughter’s story in a lucid and compelling way, contextualizing the situation for the magistrate.
