Our experience team of family solicitors can assist with all aspects of adoption. We act for prospective adoptive parents as well as birth parents opposing adoption applications. 

 

Adpotion

Children under the age of 18 are eligble for adoption and anyone over the age of 21 is eligible to be considered to adopt if they can provide a permanent, stable, caring and loving environment for a child.

We regularly act for both parents and children in adoption proceedings and our team of solicitors consist of members of the Law Society’s specialist Family Law and Children Law panels.

Funding

Legal aid may be available in adoption proceedings. We can advise, free of charge, on whether you will qualify for legal aid and where legal aid is not available we can represent you on a reasonable private basis which can include a fixed fee arrangement.
