Serious Crime
Investigations, often conducted by specialist Police units like the National Crime Agency or Homicide Teams, are increasingly sophisticated, creating a jigsaw of evidence by using surveillance, photographs, CCTV, audio recordings (bugging), Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), telephone records (who called who) and cell-site (the area where the phone was being used by reference to the mobile phone mast transmitting the call), fingerprints, DNA and witness statements.
How Can We Help You?
The Prosecution have a case theory, a story they wish to tell the Jury of participation and guilt.
But the Prosecution can be wrong; misunderstand the evidence, fail to follow a line of enquiry through, wrongly attribute a phone, and accept a written account which is untrue.
Defending cases is a complex, intricate task. Experience, hard work, careful analysis contribute to the presentation of the Defendants narrative, the alternative interpretation of what has taken place.
We have won many cases and each one informs our experience and approach. Every case is unique but our dedicated approach is uniform: let us help you to be in the best position to defend the allegations made against you.
