Steve Cottingham qualified as a solicitor in 1981 and has practiced as a lawyer ever since. As a partner in Seifert Sedley Williams, Thompsons and O H Parsons, and recently for a national trade union, he has advised and represented individuals and institutional clients on a wide variety of employment law, and related, issues.
Steve has represented clients in Employment Tribunals, the Employment Appeal Tribunal and the civil courts. He has also appeared before the Certification Officer for Trade Unions and at the European Court of Justice as well as having experience of advising on applications before the Central Arbitration Committee and being involved in applications to the European Court of Human Rights.
